Jeff is the founder, president, and primary financial advisor at Wildes Financial Strategies. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP) he works closely with individuals, families, business owners and professionals towards greater financial well-being. Jeff is passionate about using the abilities God has given him, and he endeavors to do so through his work as a financial professional. By providing personalized financial advice, and his resources as a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA) he supports others to become better stewards of their God-given talents and resources.
Jeff has over two decades of experience as a financial advisor. Through advanced guidance, he navigates wealth complexities and aims to help others intertwine their faith with their wealth. Whether he is meeting with clients, leading the investment committee, or planning for the future of the firm, Jeff remains committed to improving the lives of those in his community and beyond.
Outside the office, Jeff enjoys woodworking and he volunteers on several local and national organizations including serving on the board of trustees at the Charleston Southern University. Jeff and his wife Carolyn enjoy spending time with their three adult children, Andrew, Amanda, and Emily, and their families. He and Carolyn enjoy worshipping at Pawleys Island Community Church.
By assisting others with their financial lives, Corbett fulfills his passion in life: helping people. Corbett believes that we are called to be good stewards of what we’ve been blessed with. Through his work as a financial planner, he guides others in doing just that.
Corbett supports the firm and its clients by integrating clients’ needs and goals with various aspects of their accounts. Corbett received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in both Financial Planning and Healthcare Management from Liberty University. He was also a Resident Assistant during his time at the university.
When he’s not in the office, Corbett enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, as well as golfing, fishing, reading and cooking. He is also an avid musician and has played guitar for the past 14 years.
By fine tuning the details of client accounts and their finances, Josh King is committed to helping every client meet their retirement goals. Throughout his work with clients and diligence behind the scenes, Josh upholds the values of objectivity, best-in-class service and integrity that define the Wildes approach.
Whether rebalancing client accounts or making key decisions so that client income needs are accounted for, Josh’s dedication enables clients to experience financial peace of mind. Josh also assists with integrating information between platforms for a seamless client experience.
Josh lives in Georgetown with Emily and their two beautiful children Joshua and Olivia. They love going to the beach, playing at the park, and walking their 2 dogs.
Amanda Young is integral to the success of Wildes Financial’s clients. To take care of their questions and day-to-day needs, Amanda opens necessary accounts and completes wealth administrative functions. Her diligent efforts support clients in reaching their financial goals. Amanda also enjoys helping the individuals and families of the firm create estate plans and support nonprofit organizations.
Her career and education experience have prepared her to help carry out the firm’s mission of giving back. Previously, Amanda worked as a grants manager and foster care worker. She is also a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in sociology and a minor in social work.
Amanda lives in Georgetown with her husband, Wade. She enjoys singing in the annual Singing Christmas Tree production at First Baptist.
Doug is enthusiastic about bringing calm from chaos. Doug loves working with people, families and businesses as they grow into their financial capacities, enriching their lives and the lives of those they touch.
Doug’s previous experiences in business ownerships and varying dynamic roles in business consultation and executive management lends itself well to his current position at WFS. In addition to owning a musical artist and event management firm, he also owned a global executive protection and investigations firm.
When he’s not managing the day-to-day operations and business development of the firm, Doug enjoys a range of enriching activities. He loves being in the outdoors golfing, fly fishing and hunting. Doug is also a lover of the arts, from writing, reading, art and especially music (he enjoys jazz and blues). He is an avid reader and writer and is currently completing his first book, a compilation of memories from his 20 years of touring. Doug is the proud dad to two daughters and one son.
Michelle takes great care to manage the inner workings of Wildes Financial Strategies. By anticipating the team’s needs, Michelle supports both Jeff and the office to best serve the needs of their clients.
Given her depth of experience, Michelle is equipped to create a seamless experience for all clients and the Wildes Financial team. Previously, Michelle worked in the marketing field as executive assistant and project manager for consumer and pharmaceutical accounts. Before that, she was an executive legal assistant to the general counsel of a large communications corporation.
Outside of work, Michelle lives with husband Ellwood in Myrtle Beach and enjoys cycling, camping and fishing.
